Belgian 90s Hardcore
“fractures. No need for precise labels: It's sincere, it's hardcore. ” - Diego
biography
fractures.
belgian hardcore
Formed in March 2025, fractures. is a reunion of four friends from the local hardcore scene (Lower Sambre, Belgium): Diego (vocals), Simon (drums), Winton (bass), and Patrick (guitar). Childhood friends who have already shared the stage, this project marks a late reunion, born from a visceral need to recreate themselves after a period of silence—a return to their roots.
Their music draws from the European hardcore tradition of the 90s, bands like Arkangel, Sentence, Negate, and Oathbreaker, while also incorporating the contemporary brutality of groups like Knocked Loose. The result: a dense, organic, unadorned sound—violent, direct hardcore, but never devoid of meaning.
But behind the fury, the message is clear.
"We are positive by nature, but in fractures., the lyrics speak of this continuous human quest to destroy what surrounds us" – Diego
Here, anger is a driving force, not an end in itself. Our music doesn't just enter, it unearths.
We're not trying to please. We're trying to speak.
No need for precise labels: It's sincere, it's hardcore.
